Estee Lauder – Double Wear Stay in Place – Ecru 12

This is a powder foundation.  It is the best color (not too light or dark).  When I wear moisturizer under it, I have to touch up several times a day.  If I do not wear moisturizer, I touch up maybe once a day.  This is my one of my all time favorites.  It also as spf 10.  The other foundations have higher spf numbers.  The compact is not too good, because it doesn’t give you a separate spot for the sponge.

 

My other two favorites are Mac Studio Fix and Shiseido.  Both of these are sold at a mall that is not very close to my home.  Instead of making a special trip to get one of those, I go to the mall that is closest to my home.  This way I can go during lunch.

 

I think this is the end of my experimenting for a while.

American Beauty – Fair/Cool

This is a liquid makeup.  The color is great.  The foundation smoothes on very easily and does not settle into unwanted places.  You will need to set it with powder and touch up during the day (especially if you have oily skin).  This one is oil free.

 

I don’t think it has any spf.

 

I used American Beauty Perfect Mineral Powder Makeup – 08 very fair on top of the liquid.  This works pretty good.

Neutrogena Mineral Sheers – Classic Ivory 10

This ia a powder foundation.  This one is not oily, has a nice color, and is one of my favorites.  Like the others there is the need to touch up throughout the day.  The good thing is that this one doesn’t take as many touch ups as the other foundations.

 

This one has spf 20.

L’oreal true match – C1 alabaster

This is another foundation.  This one looks a bit pink when it goes on and it (like the others) is oily.  This one does not seem to settle in the pores as much as the other foundations.  I like this one better than the other ones.

 

This one has spf 17.

Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation – 205 ivory

The compact is not very efficiently constructed.  The bottom screws off, which allows you to get to the foundation.  The sponge is in its own compartment.  The compact does not include a mirror.  This one feels oily right away and it shows every imperfection.  The color is great.  Takes a little more time to blend it.  This one has spf/fps 22.

Pixi Flawless Vitamin Veil – No. 1 Fair

I like the color of this foundation and it is very easy to apply.  The color is one of the best I have found so far in a supermarket.  One day I even received a compliment.  The only thing I do not like is how oily it appears.  Another slight annoyance is that it seems to highlight every pore and does not apply smoothly.  The compact includes a separate place for the sponge.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind – Classic Ivory Light 2

I’ve been trying out new foundations.  This one glides on very nice and doesn’t feel like mask.  It is a bit too dark.  I was hoping it would be more like a powder but it is oily.  I can see my shiny nose all day.  This isn’t for me.  Reminder – DO NOT BUY IT AGAIN.
