It is that time of the year again, when I have to start mowing the yard.  Every year since 2005 I do a lot of the yard work.  This is because my husbsand is usually gone (somebody has to pay the bills).  I hate trying to crank the mower.  It takes 20 to 30 minutes to prepare and pull the string.  That tires me out before I even start mowing.  Also, I usually get a horrible migraine after I mow the yard.  The kind that really makes you super sick (vomitting, etc.).  So this year I decided to do something different.  I bought a Reel Mower.

I went to Home Depot and put one in my buggy and proceeded to the register.  The cashier rang it up and we had a good talk about her grandmother, who used one up until the day she passed away. During the conversation another lady showed up at the register and said, “I have one outside that is a little faded, never been used, and I will sell it to you for $40.”

Me:  I’LL TAKE IT!  (If there’s a bargain, I am ready to buy it.)

That lady saved me over $60.00.   As soon as I got home, I bolted it up and tried it out.  At this moment I am so glad I decided to make a change.  That little reel mower is light weight and works great.

I can’t wait to finish mowing the yard tomorrow.
