2010 – Happy New Year

Posted: January 18, 2010 in Holidays
My neighbors, Terry and Sylvia, say it hasn’t been this cold in Madison, AL since 25 years ago.  January 6, it began snowing and the temperatures were very low.  The snowpeople we created stayed around until January 16, 2010.  Very unusual weather we are having and very funny looking snowpeople.

Christmas Day 2009

Posted: December 26, 2009 in Holidays

We spent the day eating, watching TV, and not much else.  Steven had another incredibly bad migraine.  Our Christmas Day feast was a Vegetarian Chili.  The recipe is from Favorite Brand Name Vegetarian Cooking on page 58.  I think it turned out good, but I am not sure about Steven’s opinion.  Later in the evening I made brownies.

Halloween Take Out Boxes

Posted: October 30, 2009 in Holidays

Tonight, I decorated some take out boxes.  I plan to buy candy today around noon, fill them up, and give to our group at work.  I plan to include his or her names, to make sure I did not miss anyone.  I hope that this will not be a problem.

I used alcohol inks and pigment ink for stamping.

Below are some photos.
